Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry
Many psychologist say that a bully acts the way he/she does because he/she feels bad about themselves. A bully picks on others when there is something going on in his/her own life that he/she dislikes but cannot do anything about. Do you think this is true about bullies, explain your answer? Who do you think is the bully in "Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry", give two examples of how he/she is a bully.

1) I agree. Bullies tend to pick on people when they feel bad about themselves or are jealous of the child they're picking on.
ReplyDelete2) I think that T.J. would be the bully in "Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry" because he's always tricking people into giving him their things. If he wants something he'll pick on the person who has it until they give it to him.
I think that bullies bully people because of problems in their family's and that it affects their everyday life and lifestyle. I think T.J. is the bully because he picks on the Logans.

ReplyDeleteYes i do thind its true about bullies because I used to be one and I think that the bully in "Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry" is Lillian Jean Simms becouse she is using Cassie as a slave basicaly.

ReplyDelete2. Lillian Jean, because she thinks shes better than everyone, she slaped Cassie. She also thereatend to tell her dad on Cassie.
I think the bully in Roll of Thunder Hear my Cry is Lillian Jean. One example of her being a bully is she treats Cassie rudely and calls her names. Another example of Lillian Jean being a bully is useing Cassie as a slave and then tackles her after she puts the books down and says she did'nt want to carry them anymore and told Lillian Jean that she needed to carry them.
ReplyDeleteI think that is true about bullys because you would have to be really mean to be mean to people for no reason. In Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry I think the bully is T.J.. I think T.J. is the bully because he tolled on mama to the school borad and he is mean to the Logan children.
ReplyDeleteYes, for example whenever a bully beats on kids his father most likely beat on him. I think that T.J. is a bully becaus for one he pursadued Stacey to give him his new jacket that he got from his uncle. Secondly he told the Wallaces about how Christopher John, Little Man, Cassie, and Stacey's mom fail him.
ReplyDeleteI think that bullys do bully kids becauce they feel bad about them self have they think other people have to go throught it to. Yes there is a bully in Roll of Thunder, Hear my Cry and that bully is T.J. he tells Stacey what to do all the time and tells him that he looks funny so that he can have what ever he wants from Stacey.

ReplyDeleteI agree with the psychologists, because when a person feels bad, they usualy try to take out their anger on someone else.I think that the bully in "Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry", might be T.J, because he is oftenly framing other people for what he had done. He also makes fun of people to try and get what they have if he wants it.
ReplyDeleteYes, I believe this is true because bullies are impulsive and easily angered. I believe T.J. is the bullie in Roll of Thunder, Here My Cry, because he made Stacey feel bad about his new coat Uncle Hammer gave him, which resulted in him letting T.J. have or "barrow" the coat.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the psychologits, because when a person feels bad about themself,they bully others to feel better. In "Roll Of Thunder, Hear My Cry," I think that the bully is T.J. One example is when he makes fun of Stacey to get Stacey's new wool coat. Another time is when he makes fun of Little Man after the bus flys by and Little Man's clothes was covered in dust.

I agree with the pshycologist that bullies bully people because they get bullied that act the way they get treated. In "Roll Of Thunder Hear My Cry" T.J. is a bully he is always treating the Logan family poorily and he pressure's people into giving him things

T.J. is a bully because he treats the Logan kids really bad and Stacey the worst. T.J. told Stacey that he looked funny in his new coat so he can have it himself.

I think that he is the bully because he prusades people to give him what he wants. He likes to make fun of people. He also likes to pick on people. He will not take the blame for himself so he will blame it on other people.

I think the bully in Roll of Thunder Hear My Cry is Lillian Jean because she thinks she can use colored people as there servants. Another reason is that she picks on Cassie and thinks she can use Cassie for anything she wants.

I agree because they have stuff going in their lifes. I think T.J. was a bully because he been mean to the Logan family. He hates how he gets blamed on every thing.
