  3. Squeaky face's multiple external conflicts in Ramond's Run. One conflict she faces is people making fun of Raymond. 5. Squeaky faces an external conflict when she and Gretchen meet on the street. Squeaky and Gretchen don't get along because they are both competitive and are both running the 50 yard dash. When Gretchen moved there Mary Louise quit hanging out with Squeaky even after Squeaky was her only friend when she moved from Baltimore. Another external conflict she runs into is when the judges or officials can't figure out if Gretchen or Squeaky finished the race first. Squeaky realizes that even if she doesn't win she could coach Raymond if the running career doesn't work out. Gretchen and Squeaky are both happy with their placings.

The second is when she was raceing and was going to yell at Ramond before she ran but she stoped herself and said yelling is just a wast of time so she whent back to her race.

Squeaky faced two external conflicts because at first Gretchen, Mary Louise, and Rosie started to say things to Raymond and she got mad. The other external conflict was at the race when she raced Gretchen. She had to face the fact that she mite lose.
