Literature Circles
As we are finishing up our first lit circle, what do you think? In detail tell me do you like lit circles, why or why not. What could be done to make the lit cirlce groups more exciting in your opinion. If any, could we add a new job to the list or is there a job you feel we could delete, explain your answer. Do you feel that you have completed your responsibilities for the lit circles group? Explain. Add any other information you think I need to know.

I love lit circles because they help me finish my book on time and they don't make me feel like I have to rush to get everything finished in one day. I think that we need to have more questions than four(4) for the Disscusion Director and more than five(5) words for the Word finder. Maybe we need to have a limit for the letters like at least five(5) to eight(8) sentences. I think we should be able to do our drawings in black and white instead of having to color them. I think I have completed my responsibliities but I know some people have not. I think we should get to have more of a choice for our books. Maybe we could go up to the library and pick the book as a group.
ReplyDeleteI like the lit circles they help us get are points and they aren't as time consuming as I thought they would have been. I like the connector and question's job but I don't like they word job personally out of lazyness. The lit circle's help us get together about book's in school which we wouldn't do outside of school I thought I would dislike the lit circle's but honestly I don't I actually am finding them enjoyable so far and I hope these feelings continue.
ReplyDeleteThe lit circles are ok I liked the book, however I don't like how we have to find time of our own to read the books I think we should have 30min. or so a day in class to read the books. I do not belive I completed my responsiblities because I failed to do all of my work.
ReplyDeleteI am fine with the literature circles because it is a chalenge I can handle. If you ask me, the literature circles are exciting enough with the flury of all the jobs.I feel that I have finished all of my jobs quite well.
ReplyDeleteI think that we sould just reed some pages and then see what the hole class has to say about the book because I think it would be fair that way because you reed the book and talk about it. I think that it would be easier to do it that way. To make it more fun I would just think about how the book and I have the same problems in life.
ReplyDeleteI like it because its fun to read books that I never read. I like the stuff that we have right now. I think I did my responsibilities. I really like the lit circuls I hope we do it next year.
ReplyDeleteI think the Literature Circles are a good idea because it makes us read more and we get to talk about or books.I would make it to were you get to chose if you want to do a drawing one time then you would have to write a letter the next time.My least farvortie thing about the Literature Circles is that we have to write letters to the charaters in our books.Yes I feel that I haave completed me responsibilities for the Literature Circles because I have read and did me jobs every time we got to gether to talk about or book.
ReplyDeleteI think that they make it easyer for me to read the book because I have a deadline. I don't really like the book im reading though. If I liked the book we were reading I would like the lit circles more. I think we should reed books that have been made into or made from movies so after we read them we could watch the movie. It would help us learn that the movie doesn't always fallow the book, or that the book doesn't alwas fallow the movie. I also think that i have only done part of my job for the lit circles becaus I don't like the book I have to read. Next time I think we should pick our own groops.
ReplyDeleteI don't care for lit ccircles. All they do is help you finish books in the libray. I don't think there is anything in my mind to make them more exciting. We could take out the wordfinder because if you want to know what they really mean then you should look them up yourself instead of having to be made to look them up.
ReplyDeleteI think that literature circle's are good for us and that we should keep doing them. In my opinon literature circles are one of the beast reading activity's that we've ever done because it help's me understand better. In my opinion to make the literature circles more exciting is to keep having them the way we've been having them. The job that I feel that we should delete is connection's because in my opinion it's very hard and I think it's confusing. In last words I thnk that the literature cirles are fun and that they'll help people with their reading comprehension.

I like the lit circles because you have a deadline.In my opinion, I think that we could watch the movie after we read the book.Well i think that we could delete the connections because i don't understand how to do them.No i feel like i did part of my job because you don't understand.
ReplyDeleteI think that they are a fun and fast way to read a book. But I also think that we should read books more appealing for the whole class. But overall I think thatwe need to keep doing lit circles
