The Christmas Box
Why does Mary invite Richard and Keri to come live with her? Does Mary really need Keri to cook and clean for her? If so, why does she hire out some of the heavier chores? Is Mary really looking for a family of her own? Why does she not invite a friend or a relative to move in with her?

Mary invite's Richard and Keri because she is lonely. No Keri does that in a way of showing her that she is thankful for letting Mary let them move in. Thats Mary's way of returning the favor for Keri's thankfulness. Mary is looking for a family of her own because she wanted a child in the house after her infant died a long time ago. I think it said she has no one and that's why she didnt invite anybody to help her lonliness.

Heavier chores are harder on her.
Yes because she misses her own family.
Because her friends and relatives are dead.
Mary invites Richard and Keri to move in with her because she is lonely. No, Mary doesn't really need Keri to come cook and clean for her, it's her way of them paying her back for living there. No, Mary isn't really looking for a family of her own she just wanted company because of her husband and daughter's death! Mary doesn't invite a friend or relative to live with her because she sees them all the time. They are no longer company and in the beginning she said she had no family!
ReplyDeleteShe invites them to live so that they can do her chores for her. Yes, because she is old and weak. She does because she cant do them herself. Yes, Mary is looking for a family to spend the holidays with. She does not invite a friend or family member because she has none.
ReplyDeleteSo she can get help around the house. Yes because she is old and she can't cook. So she won't have to do the work. Yes becaus she doesn't really have a family. She doesn't really have a family so she can't have no family to ask.

Some what yes Mary needs Keri to cook for her because she is getting older and she has a brain tumor. Mary hires some of the heavier chores because she is getting weaker as she gets older and that puts more pressure on her. I think Mary is looking for a family of her own because all of her family has died and she doesn't know where any of her friends are. Like I said all of Mary's family has died. Mary has no clue where all of her friends are either.
ReplyDeleteMary was lonely and wanted to have more people in the house. Mary didn't need Keri to cook for her or care for the mansion. I think that Mary wanted them to stay busy so they wouldn't leave. Mary is probobly looking for family since her child and husband died. Mary probobly hired someone she did not know so she might feel happier.

No, she just wants different company instead of the same people over and over again. Mary said she didn't have family, she might have been tired of seeing the same people, they may have lived too far away.

ReplyDeleteShe is very lonly without her daughter. She is letting Kari and Richord live with her so she can have a family again. She can do every thing by herself but she wants a person to spen time with her and it was better that she had a little girl with then so Jenan helped her with her doughter.
